Duration: 6-7 hours with 1-2 stops

Highlights:

You will have a trek through beautiful landscapes surrounded by rice paddy terraces and mountains covered by rainforest under the protection of Hoang Lien National Park. Also, you will hear about the lifestyle and traditions of the Hmong and Giay minorities.

Itinerary:

• Meet up at your hotel in Sapa with a local guide and driver for a short transfer to Cat Cat village.

• After a couple of minutes, you will follow steps going downhill to Cat Cat village. You will stop by a waterfall and a hydroelectric station for a while before continuing the trek on a dirt trail through rice paddy terraces. You will also enjoy spectacular scenery while walking along a narrow river.

• You will eventually arrive in Y Linh Ho village of the Black Hmong minority, where you can take a rest while you are served lunch nearby the river.

• After lunch, you head toward Muong Hoa valley. You will pass through Lao Chai village of the Black Hmong minority and then Tavan village of the Giay minority by following a very popular trekking route. You will return to Sapa from Ta Van by car.

1. Red Dao herbal baths: An ancient remedy for modern wellness

   The Red Dao herbal bath is a centuries-old wellness tradition practiced by the Red Dao ethnic minority in the mountainous regions of northern Vietnam, particularly in areas like Sapa and Lao Cai. Known for their deep understanding of medicinal plants, the Red Dao people gather dozens of wild herbs from the forests—such as cinnamon, star anise, and local gingers—to create a therapeutic blend that is boiled for hours and poured into a wooden tub for soaking.

   More than just a method of relaxation, the Red Dao herbal bath is believed to relieve muscle tension, improve blood circulation, ease joint pain, and support postpartum recovery for women. This traditional remedy, deeply rooted in nature and cultural heritage, offers both physical healing and a tranquil, aromatic escape that connects bathers to the wisdom of the forest.

After breakfast at your hotel, you will be transfered to the Fansipan Cable Car Station.

Continue your journey by cable car to Fansipan Peak – known as “The Roof of Indochina” (3,143m above sea level). Take in the breathtaking scenery of the Hoang Lien Son mountain range, explore spiritual sites such as Bich Van Pagoda, Great Buddha Statue, and the Heavenly Gate, and enjoy the cool mountain air above the clouds.

Reaching the Peak
From the upper cable car station, you can choose one of two ways to reach the summit of Fansipan – the Roof of Indochina (3,143 m):

• Option 1: Take the Do Quyen Mountain Climbing Train (included in our package), a short and scenic funicular ride that brings you close to the top.

• Option 2: Walk up the stone steps (approximately 600 steps) to conquer the final stretch by foot – a rewarding experience with stunning views along the way.

At the top, spend time taking photos at the Fansipan Summit Monument and enjoying the panoramic view above the clouds.

Buffet Lunch
Enjoy the buffet lunch on Fansipan before descending by cable car back to Sapa Town.

Explore Sung Sot Cave - The longest, biggest and the most beautiful grotto of Ha Long Bay.

The boat will move to Luon Cave area - a water cave for kayaking or rowing bamboo boat or just stay on board for relaxing.

17:30 - 17:40 Visiting Titop island for swimming or hiking to the Titop peak for taking photos with panoramic view of the bay.

It is time for a rest after activities and capture the sunset on the bay. Complimentary Vietnamese tea, fresh juice, fruit, ang little cake will be served. Enjoy the return sail back.

GET BACK ON BUS Back to Ha Long harbor. Disembark to get on the bus, moving back Hanoi.

Here, we go cycling around the village for sightseeing & discovering the life of the local people

12h00: Have the buffet lunch at NinhBinh Excursion Restaurant designed with 5 stars-style with many local foods options such as goat meat, spring-rolls, fish, chicken, fried rice & vegetable salad....Vegetarian foods are always available in the buffet lunch

13h30: Visit Tam Coc by 1.5-hour bamboo boat. You will be surprised by the charming beauty here with paddy fields, river, water, cloud, sky and a stunning cave system during the boat trip. All make a masterpiece that Vietnamese people called “Ha Long Bay on land”

15h30: Get back to Limousine Bus then leave for Mua Cave (Dragon Peak). Walk up almost 500 steps, you can reach the top of Lying Dragon Mountain & have an amazing panoramic view of Tam Coc from here. Besides, you can breath fresh air at very beautiful lotus paddy field nearby, especially in the summer time

17h00: Get on the bus to return to Hanoi

19h00: Get dropped off at Hotels in Hanoi.Tour ends
